Intense Pulse Light Therapy (IPL)
A sunny day can really lift your mood but it can also cause serious damage to your skin. The sun is our skin's greatest enemy, causing discolouration and increasing fine lines and wrinkles.
Most sun damage actually occurs during your childhood and teenage years, but the damage can take 20, 30 or even 40 years to show up. So what can you do to remedy a situation that was caused years ago? Revive your skin with IPL photorejuvenation.
The Most Advanced Non-surgical Solution
A photorejuvenation programme combines intense light therapy and a series of scientifically-tested creams over a twenty-week period, to deliver tighter and noticeably younger looking skin. It’s the closest thing to a face-lift you can have without undergoing surgery. And the best part is that, unlike surgery, it is virtually pain free and there is no recovery time.
This is not laser skin resurfacing, so you do not experience the side effects that may occur with laser therapy. Instead you just experience an improvement in fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring and ruptured capillaries, giving you a smoother, fine textured skin you’ll have to feel to believe.
Contact our trained staff for more information about the benefits of photorejuvenation therapy.
The Programme
This 20-week treatment programme commences with a four to six week skin preparation phase, comprising a therapeutically designed cream containing Retin-A, hydroquinone, steroid and fat soluble Vitamin C.
Four intense pulsed light treatments are then administered, ideally at three-week intervals, and your skin care consultant will develop a tailored maintenance programme for you.
