Breast Enhancement

Breast shape is amazingly variable and will vary from one woman to another. Though it can be difficult to determine what "ideal" is when discussing breast shape and size, you may feel that your breasts need more or less volume, or a different shape. For whatever reason, if your self-image doesn't quite match up with what you see in the mirror, you may benefit from breast enhancement surgery.
There is a surgical procedure to address all of your concerns, from breast implants and reductions, to breast reconstruction, to a mastopexy (breast lift). I have treated breasts of all shapes and sizes and always commit to achieving the the best results and happy patients.
I have found that when it comes to breasts that have what most would call an attractive shape – from a medical point of view, this often means that the breast is proportionate and natural. See below for some of the areas and issues I commonly treat at my Sydney practice.
Cleavage
Wide gaps between breasts and breasts that join together in the middle are often not pleasing to the eye. Fortunately, this can be surgically corrected to create two breast mounds of equal volume and height, separated by an aesthetically pleasing cleavage.
The Nipple
Nipple size and shape that is in balance with the patient height, chest, and body shape and proportionate size of the breast is traditionally the goal in undergoing breast surgery. Large dilated nipples may benefit from nipple reduction and a nipple located too low on the breast can often benefit from a breast lift. This may or may not be part of a breast reduction surgery. After the surgery, the nipple is typically located on the top of the breast mound, either in a horizontal or slightly upturned position.
Symmetry
It is often said that a woman's breasts are never the same size as each other. However, in some cases these size differences can be so significant that it can lead to embarrassment and limit your ability to live life to the fullest. Achieving balance between the left and right breast in terms of volume, size, and height can be achieved through breast enhancement that corrects breast asymmetry. This type of surgery may use a combination of breast lift, breast implant, and breast reduction.
Proportion
For some women, a certain breast size will be too small but for others a larger size is clearly unsuited to her frame. I place a lot of emphasis on proportion and balance in my procedures. Your breast enhancement needs to tailor your desires as well as match them to your height, weight, and age.
Remember, your procedure is all about you. No matter what your concern, there is a solution to the problem. I invite you to make an appointment to meet with me in my Sydney clinic, where we can discuss your unique concerns face-to-face.
