Consultations

Consultations with Dr Hunt are thorough and the process takes 30 -45 minutes which is why a professional fee is charged.  A referral from your local doctor is advised but not essential. After your initial consultation with Dr Hunt we encourage you to return or contact his office if you have any questions.

Surgical Costs

After your consultation you will be provided with a total cost estimate including surgical, anaesthetic, and hospital fees.  For some procedures such as breast reduction, medicare rabates may apply and Private Health Insurance may cover hospital costs and this will be explained in each individual case.

Dr Hunt's surgical fee is calculated according to the duration and complexity of the procesure you require. The fee includes the costs of performance of the procedure to the highest standard and the routine post operative follow up care.  Due to variations in standard of care and techiques used in procedures, Dr Hunt' s fees can not be directly compared to procedures performed by other doctors although the name of the procedure may be similar.
