Qualifications and education
Plastic Surgeon, Dr Jeremy Hunt’s full title is Dr Jeremy A. Hunt MBBS FRACS. It takes six to 10 years to earn those two acronyms at the end of your name – in Dr Jeremy Hunt’s case, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine degree from Sydney University in 1990 (the MB part), followed by further study for his Bachelor of Surgery (BS) and yet more study to attain his status as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (yep, FRACS) and member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgery. Still not satisfied, Dr Jeremy Hunt went on to hone his skills even further by completing a Fellowship at the prestigious University of Texas in the United States, where he learnt from some of the world’s very best plastic surgeons.
Dr Jeremy Hunt is the spokesperson for the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, Supervisor of Plastic Surgery Training at Sydney Children’s Hospital and a Consultant Surgeon for both the Prince of Wales Hospital and Sydney Children’s Hospital.
Dr Jeremy Hunt has been a consultant Plastic Surgeon for the past 15 years and has vast experience in the treatment of skin cancer and cosmetic surgical procedures.
He specialises in a wide range of cosmetic surgical procedures including:
