Today we are chatting with our cosmetic nurse, Bec Boberg, about Dermal fillers which has become a popular anti-ageing treatment in recent years for good reason.
What are dermal fillers?
They are cosmetic injections that add volume and restore fullness to areas of the face non-surgically. They smooth out skin by filling wrinkles, giving you a plump, more hydrated appearance and what’s not to love about that!
How are they used?
We commonly use dermal filler on the cheeks, lips, tear troughs and the jaw area.
Here are just a few of the issues we can treat with great success –
- Lines from the nose to the mouth

- Lines above the upper lip (‘smoker’ lines)

Georgia had a total of 0.8ml of filler injected into her lips, over two treatments that were 6 weeks apart. The result is a poutier, fuller lip.

This patient was seeking treatment to correct a recessed, weak chin. Bec used dermal fillers to add volume and shape, making it appear more prominent and defined.
Cheek Enhancement
This patient had filler injections to enhance her cheeks, giving them more definition and overall, a more striking appearance.

This patient came in for a treatment to address her smile lines for an instantly more youthful appearance.
