Dr Hunt will discuss your situation and suitability for Nose Surgery in detail during your personal one-on-one consultation.
What's Involved in Nose Surgery?
Dr Hunt performs all nose surgeries under a general anaesthetic administered by one of his carefully selected anaesthetists in the hospital of your choice.
Either an open or closed surgical technique will be used, depending on the extent of your surgery.
During your surgery, Dr Hunt will separate the skin of your nose from the bone and cartilage, before adjusting to the desired size and shape.
When your surgery is finished, a splint will be placed over the bridge of your nose. If your septum (the cartilage between your nostrils) is adjusted, Dr Hunt will also pack inside your nose.
The whole procedure generally takes around 2 hours.
How Long Will I Be Off Work After Nose Surgery?
While it will take many months for you to see the absolute final result, you may see changes within a few weeks. You should wait at least a full 12 months to see the final result.
How Should I Choose My Surgeon?
