Steps to Make a Complaint

If you have concerns or questions either before or after your surgery, our team are here to help you. We endeavour to provide reliable guidance and support to each patient throughout each stage of the surgical process.

In the case of an emergency, you should seek medical attention right away. For other questions or complaints, you may use the following steps as a guide:

1. Speak to Dr Hunt

The best place to start if you have a concern or complaint is your surgeon. Your surgeon will already have an idea of your circumstances and other relevant information, so speaking to them directly might help to resolve the issue. Dr Jeremy Hunt and his team endeavour to pay special attention to the needs of each patient and resolve any concerns they may have.

Whether you have concerns in the consultation process, the surgical process, or post-operative recovery, we can help provide reassurance and guide you in the right direction.

2. Make a written complaint

If your concern doesn’t get resolved by speaking to Dr Hunt or his staff directly, you can put your complaint in writing.

In your written complaint, you should include information such as your contact information, name, date, and the nature of your concern. Include any other relevant details or supporting documentation.

Once we have received your complaint, we can begin working to assess and resolve the issue.

3. Contact an external agency

If your concerns are unable to be resolved by contacting your surgeon or submitting a complaint, you can report your concerns to an external organisation. Patients can make confidential complaints to:

  • Cosmetic Surgery Hotline – 1300 361 041

By contacting the Cosmetic Surgery Hotline, you can talk through your experiences and get further guidance for your individual situation.

After Making Your Complaint

Our team are committed to the well-being of our patients, which means we value your input and feedback. We will aim to resolve your complaint as soon as possible, and we appreciate your patience throughout this process.
